This Infusion Registered Nurse role is a full-time contract-to-hire opportunity with strong daytime hours and the potential for long-term placement based on performance and business needs.

Infusion Registered Nurse Compensation

• Pay rate: $42.00 per hour
• Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• 401(k) with company match available after eligibility requirements are met

Infusion Registered Nurse Schedule & Highlights

• Contract-to-hire (C2H)
• Four 10-hour shifts
• 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Day shift, no overnights
• Strong IV skills required

Infusion Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care in accordance with established standards and practices
• Assess patient health status through interviews, medical history reviews, and physical assessments
• Collect, document, and report nursing assessments, interventions, lab results, and diagnostic data to providers
• Provide patient and family education, instructional materials, and psychosocial support
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times
• Prepare and administer prescribed therapies under physician supervision
• Safely administer medications and blood products following proper dosage, route, timing, and technique
• Ensure appropriate authorizations and consent forms are obtained prior to therapy administration
• Facilitate dose modifications by reviewing labs, treatment protocols, and consulting with physicians
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices
• Accurately document all patient care and treatments provided
• Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture
• Program and educate patients/caregivers on portable and ambulatory infusion pumps
• Clean, maintain, and document infusion pump usage per protocol

Infusion Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of infusion administration experience
• Strong IV skills required
• Chemotherapy and oncology experience highly preferred
