Position: ALLIED-CST-Certified Surgical Tech (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile environment.

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies before procedures.

• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency.

• Engage in continuous learning to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and functioning properly.

• Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety.

• Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.

• Document surgical procedures and patient information accurately.

• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving surgical processes.

• Participate in post-operative care and patient recovery processes.

• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Experience/Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification required for eligibility.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical tech role.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Proficiency in sterilization techniques and operating room protocols.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse surgical teams.

• Adherence to hospital policies for compliance and safety.

• Strong attention to detail in documenting surgical procedures and patient data.

• Familiarity with latest surgical techniques and technologies.

• Provide constructive feedback on surgical processes for improvement.

• Ability to monitor and manage surgical inventory effectively.
