Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in a K-12 school setting located in Middleburg, FL. This role focuses on providing speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload, primarily serving students in grades K-6.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year), or School SLP credentials.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
- Ability to manage and support a caseload of approximately 50 students with diverse speech and language needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills conducive to collaboration with educators and parents.
Position Details:
- Contract duration: Non-school year (NSY).
- Work schedule: 2 days per week, 8 hours per day.
- Setting: Elementary school environment within a K-12 school.
- Caseload: Approximately 50 students, focusing on K-6 grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students based on established goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
