Our client, a UHNW Family, is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Handyman to help support their staff in Fort Lauderdale, FL!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility equipment.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality of equipment and systems.
- Execute welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate components.
- Carry out residential painting duties to maintain aesthetic standards within the facilities.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and teamwork in maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Experience in supervising teams or projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with residential painting practices is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings is essential.
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
