Job DescriptionScheduling CoordinatorPosition SummaryLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support logistics and operational flow across a third-party logistics (3PL) network. This role is central to managing inbound and outbound transportation scheduling to 3PL facilities and offers flexibility to contribute to broader supply chain operations, vendor coordination, and process improvement initiatives. The position sits in Eastern Standard Time but allows for Pacific Standard Time working hours.Position Type: Temporary (Temp Only) Thru January – Possible Extension and ConversionWork Location: Hybrid (Miramar, FL – Monday to Thursday in-office, Friday remote)Schedule: Monday–Thursday (9 AM–5 PM or 10 AM–6 PM EST), Friday WFHCompensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour“Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401k plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.”Typical Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesTransportation Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule inbound and outbound transportation exclusively through the Ryder scheduling app.
- Confirm dock appointments and coordinate with warehouse clerks and drivers to ensure timely operations.
- Monitor and update scheduling systems daily to reflect real-time logistics activity.
- Track load statuses and proactively resolve delays or scheduling conflicts.
Operational Logistics Support
- Prepare and manage documentation for shipments, including appointment confirmations and load manifests.
- Escalate scheduling issues to appropriate stakeholders and follow up on resolution.
- Maintain visibility into transportation activities and ensure system accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to align on delivery timelines and capacity planning.
- Support broader supply chain initiatives such as process audits, vendor performance tracking, and workflow optimization.
- Participate in team huddles and planning sessions to share updates and identify bottlenecks.
System & Data Management
- Maintain accurate records in scheduling platforms and Excel trackers.
- Generate reports on fleet utilization, appointment adherence, and carrier performance.
- Assist in onboarding new carriers or vendors into scheduling systems.
Qualifications for SuccessRequired
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation scheduling, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating across teams and resolving conflicts.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, scheduling templates).
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and transportation workflows.
- Ability to analyze data and suggest process improvements.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
