Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought for a full-time contract position supporting K-12 schools. This role offers an engaging opportunity to provide behavioral interventions and support to students across varying ages and needs, including specialized autism classrooms.
Location: Cape Coral, FL (On-site only)
Assignment Duration: Current School Year (CSY) contract
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective strategies
- Monitoring and analyzing student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
- Providing training and guidance to staff on behavior management techniques
- Supporting diverse student populations, with caseloads varying based on assignment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA licensure required
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with school teams
- Ability to adapt caseload management based on assignment priorities
