Job Description
We are seeking certified assembly technicians to join our Installation/Modification Travel Teams. These teams perform In-Seat Power, Wi-Fi, ACARS & FMS upgrade kit installations on various aircraft types, following aircraft manufacturer manuals, engineering drawings, FAR's, and company policies. The role demands a focus on safety and maintaining high standards throughout the installation process. The position is based in Gainesville, FL.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft modifications and installations.
- Conduct aircraft sheet metal repairs and structural repairs.
- Engage in sheet metal fabrication tasks.
- Adhere to engineering drawings and manufacturer manuals.
- Ensure compliance with FAR's and company policies.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project goals.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal Repair/Structural Repair.
- Proficiency in aircraft modification and sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with riveting, drilling, countersinking, and composite repair.
- Familiarity with aircraft types such as CRJ, ERJ, Boeing, and Airbus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of a basic set of tools.
- Willingness to listen, learn quickly, and follow instructions.
- Must be able to relocate and work 65 - 80+ hours a week for several months with minimal time off.
- Strong team player attitude for travel road team assignments.

Work Environment
The role requires working 7 days a week with 12-hour shifts, starting at 7 am and potentially ending as late as 7 pm. You will work in teams of 5-10 people, contributing to a highly respected industry reputation. Flexibility in work hours is expected, and a commitment to teamwork and learning is essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Archer, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
