We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lawn Pest Control Manager to join our Jupiter team and oversee daily operations in our lawn division.

Job Summary

The Lawn Pest Control Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the lawn care department, supervising technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of Florida turf, ornamental pests, and treatment practices. This is a full-time position (minimum 40 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all lawn care technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure service quality, compliance with state regulations, and safety standards.
• Develop and implement service protocols, ensuring lawns and ornamentals are treated effectively and efficiently.
• Provide ongoing technical training for technicians, including proper chemical application, safety, and equipment use.
• Monitor route completion, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Resolve customer complaints, service issues, and technical challenges in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate service and treatment records in PestPac (or equivalent system).
• Ensure compliance with Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (FDACS) licensing and regulations.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to meet revenue, sales, and growth targets.
• Support sales team in identifying new lawn service opportunities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors year-round in Florida’s climate (heat, humidity, rain).
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently during service inspections.
• Lift, carry, and handle up to 50 pounds of equipment and materials.
• Safely operate vehicles, spray rigs, and application equipment.
• Tolerance for exposure to lawn care chemicals with proper safety equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in lawn/ornamental pest control, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Current FDACS Lawn & Ornamental License required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Strong knowledge of Florida turf and ornamental pests, fertilization, and treatment programs.
• Proficiency in route management software (PestPac preferred).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
