Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full- and part-time school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year. Positions are on-site within K-12 schools located in Stuart and Port St. Lucie, Florida, with varied school assignments including middle and K-8 schools as well as a private school evaluation team. This contract role runs from the start of the school year through June 2026 following the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services to students across multiple campuses, including Dan McCarty Middle School, Forest Grove Middle School, Oak Hammock K-8, and district office evaluation settings
  • Manage caseloads in compliance with school schedules, performing assessments and delivering therapy to students with diverse communication needs
  • Collaborate with school staff and service providers, including working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) cluster sites and InD units
  • Complete speech-language evaluations, particularly within the private school evaluation team setting

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, with the ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to various campus environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with educational teams and families
