Job SummaryWe are seeking an PRN Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team! As a PRN Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will be meeting with several patients in a day, discussing their treatment needs and ultimate goals, and crafting customized, comprehensive therapy plans for them. You will also work closely with other doctors or members of their health team to arrange follow-up care, help educate patients on lifestyle changes they may need, and provide a positive, affirming presence in their lives. The ideal candidate has a compassionate style of care, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is comfortable handling multiple different cases at a time.
Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals
• Work closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress

Qualifications

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients

PRN Pay Amounts

• $70 per evaluation and re-evaluation
• $60 per routine visit
• $65 per discharge
• $70 per OT OASIS discharge
• $75 per OT resumption of care
• $80 per OT recert
• $85 per lymphedema evaluation
• $75 per lymphedema routine visit
• $80 per lymphedema discharge
• Bi-weekly payments will also include payment for mileage driven.
