Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team at ATC Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and imaging techniques that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine scans and procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and provide diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Educate patients on procedures and provide excellent patient care throughout their experience.
- Document all procedures accurately in patient records for continuity of care.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist from an accredited program.
- Proven experience in nuclear medicine or related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical setting.
