Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in the Fort Myers, FL area, serving K-12 students across multiple locations. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic school district, primarily in the East Zone near Lehigh Acres, with some positions further south near Naples at Lexington Middle School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student care.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), if applicable.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida teaching certification or licensure in speech-language pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) status.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) starting January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026.
