Compound non-sterile medications, including creams, capsules, suspensions and other dosage forms.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using formulas and compounding records.
• Maintain cleanroom and laboratory environments following USP standards.
• Label and package compounded products with correct dosing instructions and safety information.
• Maintain detailed compounding logs, worksheets, and quality control documentation.
• Follow technique, and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Manage inventory of chemicals, ingredients, packaging supplies, and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Assist with customer service and prescription processing
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Previous experience non-sterile compounding is strongly preferred,
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a clean, organized, and regulated environment.
Skills & Competencies
• Knowledge of USP guidelines.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow formulas, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Dependability, reliability, and professional ethics.
