The Director of Cardiac Care (Med-Surg) provides strategic and operational leadership for the cardiac medical-surgical unit, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective patient care aligned with facility goals. This role oversees planning, management, implementation, and coordination of unit operations while fostering strong leadership, clinical excellence, and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership for planning, management, implementation, integration, and coordination of the cardiac med-surg unit.
• Support delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care aligned with facility strategic goals.
• Lead and develop clinical leadership teams to promote excellence and accountability.
• Ensure effective staffing, resource utilization, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support organizational objectives.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on communication, collaboration, and patient outcomes.
COMPENSATION
Annual Salary Range (Based on Experience)
• $105,000 (minimum)
• $115,000 (midpoint | ~10 years of experience)
• $125,000 (maximum | ~15+ years of experience)

Requirements:
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license for the position you are applying for.
• Minimum of 5 years of recent (within the last year) acute care RN leadership experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to lead clinical operations in a cardiac medical-surgical environment.
