Position Summary

The Part-Time Facilities Staff member serves as the on-site point of contact for all facilities-related needs at the Fort Myers Shores Campus of Grace Church. This individual works as part of the overall Grace Church Facilities Team and is supervised by the Director of Facilities and the Campus Pastor. The role includes maintaining buildings and grounds, coordinating repairs, assisting with events, and supporting other ministries and campuses as needed.


Key Responsibilities:


Facilities & Grounds Maintenance


  • Serve as the primary on-site facilities contact at the Shores Campus.

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

  • Identify needed repairs and coordinate completion with the Director of Facilities.

  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Coordination & Scheduling


  • Work with the Director of Facilities to determine weekly repair priorities and schedules.

  • Oversee and coordinate volunteer help and community service workers for campus projects.

  • Assist in planning and executing facilities-related projects and events.

Vendor & Contractor Relations


  • Maintain positive working relationships with outside contractors and service providers.

  • Assist the Director of Facilities in managing and reviewing maintenance contracts.

  • Coordinate on-site contractor work at the Shores Campus.

Administrative & Budget Support


  • Order cleaning and maintenance supplies in coordination with the Director of Facilities.

  • Attend monthly facilities team meetings.

Ministry Support


  • Assist Campus ministries with facility needs for programs and events.

  • Support facilities needs at other Grace Church campuses as assigned by the Director of Facilities.

Qualifications


  • Experience in general maintenance, repairs, or facilities management preferred.

  • Ability to work independently while being part of a larger team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.

  • Ability to lift and move items as required (up to 50 lbs).

  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends for events as needed.

Work Schedule


  • Part-time (hours to be determined in coordination with the Director of Facilities and Campus Pastor).

  • Requires occasional flexibility for special events or urgent facility needs.
