Reports To: Administrative Secretary
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Recreation Aide to provide clerical and administrative support to our Administrative Secretary. This very part-time role is ideal for someone looking to assist in a recreation or community services setting in a supportive, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with organizing and filing participant forms and program documents
- Help prepare materials and rosters for recreational programs and events
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide basic information to the public
- Support scheduling and room reservations for recreational activities
- Help maintain supply inventory and order materials as needed
- Provide general clerical support such as copying, scanning, and data entry
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous clerical or office support experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable working with the public
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
