Welder - Entry Level
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Welder to join our client's metal fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the production of high-quality metal products.
Shift/Hours:: M-F
Pay Rate: $16/hr.
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Experience: Entry Level / Tech School
Entry Level Welder Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced welders in setup and preparation for welding projects.
- Perform basic welding tasks under direct supervision, including tack welding and fillet welds.
- Operate welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and welding diagrams.
- Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Clean and maintain welding equipment and work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with other shop tasks as needed, such as grinding, cutting, and material handling.
Entry Level Welding Qualifications:
- No prior welding experience required; vocational training or coursework in welding is a plus.
- Basic understanding of welding principles and techniques.
- Ability to read and understand basic measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various positions.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the welding trade.
