Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Lehigh Acres, FL. This contract role spans from January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026, offering full-time hours at 37.5 hours per week, with possible part-time options. The position requires providing speech-language pathology services across multiple school locations primarily in the East Zone of the area.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students across the K-12 spectrum, with caseload assignments varying by school site.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with school and state requirements.
- Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants if applicable.
- Uphold compliance with ethical and professional standards in speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or licensure in speech-language pathology.
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLP-CF (Clinical Fellow) credentials are required.
- Experience levels ranging from entry to advanced are welcomed.
- Supervisory capacity for SLPAs is a plus.
