McKenney Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Weekend Caregivers to provide exceptional, one-on-one support to clients throughout Sarasota County and Charlotte County, FL.

Position Details
Schedule: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday; flexible day and evening shifts available)
Service Areas: Sarasota, Venice, Englewood, North Port, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and surrounding communities
Job Type: Part-Time / Weekend
What Youll Do
As a valued member of our home care team, youll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Typical responsibilities include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Providing companionship and social engagement, including to clients with memory care needs
- Preparing nutritious meals and supporting hydration
- Offering medication reminders (no administration required)
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry
- Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in client health or behavior
Qualifications
- Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely
- Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to client needs
- Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- CPR certification (or willingness to complete)
- TB test within the last 6 months (or willingness to complete)
- AHCA Level 2 background screening (or willingness to complete)
