Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in the Punta Gorda, FL area, primarily serving elementary school settings. This contract position extends throughout the current school year (CSY) and involves supporting students in Speech-Language services under the supervision of certified speech pathologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students, implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Support communication development in children within a school environment.
  • Collaborate with educators and therapists to monitor and document student progress.
  • Maintain compliance with all state licensure requirements and school district policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights regarding student needs and therapy outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license.
  • Prior experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
