Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our chiropractic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in billing, with experience in managing collections. This role is essential for ensuring the timely oversight of collections and outstanding accounts while maintaining positive relationships with patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on outstanding patient accounts through our billing and collection service to oversee timely billing and accurate posting.
• Utilize knowledge of medical billing, to accurately assess claims.
• Review and interpret medical records and documentation to resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with external billing and collection service, patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding payment issues, apply, recredential and maintaining insurance compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and update systems accordingly.
• Stay informed about changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices.

Requirements

• Prefer experience in chiropractic collections or a related field.
• Understanding of medical terminology and coding systems, including ICD-10
• Familiarity with office procedures and record management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding in collection software, specifically Chirotouch or other relevant systems.
• Prefer Chirotouch Software experience
• Mandatory Bilingual Spanish/English
