Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available for the current school year in a K-12 setting located in Fort Pierce, FL. This full-time contract role involves supporting students across multiple campuses, including Westwood, PreK, and Northport K8. The position requires a dedicated professional with active Florida Department of Health (DOH) licensure in psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological testing and assessments
- Participate in meetings with school staff, families, and students
- Provide counseling and support services to students
- Manage caseload involving various age groups within K-12
- Collaborate with school personnel to support student development and well-being
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Psychologist Licensure through the Department of Health (DOH)
- Experience working in school psychology preferred but open to candidates with 0+ years of experience
- Ability to handle a caseload across multiple school sites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Fort Pierce, Florida (serving multiple campuses in the area)
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Contract duration: ASAP through June 2, 2026
