We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Training and Documentation Specialist. This entry-level position plays a key role in supporting our employee training and development efforts by creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assisting in the onboarding process, and supporting the development and facilitation of training programs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys writing, organizing information, and helping others learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to draft, revise, and maintain clear and accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal documentation.
- Assist in the design and delivery of training programs for new hires and existing employees.
- Help coordinate and conduct onboarding sessions for new team members.
- Support the development of training materials, including manuals, guides, checklists, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Maintain and update the internal knowledge base and documentation systems.
- Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to improve content and delivery.
- Assist with scheduling, organizing, and tracking training sessions and attendance.
- Provide administrative support for learning and development initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Education, Business, or a related field, preferred but not necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize complex information clearly.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and facilitating small group training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Internship or work experience in training, HR, documentation, or administrative support.
- Experience with instructional design tools.
- Familiarity with process documentation and workflow tools.
Work Environment
This position is a full-time in-house position working Monday through Friday, 8a-5pm. at our firm in Cocoa, FL. The work environment is fun, friendly and positive with a diverse pool of employees. This is not a remote position.
Compensation Overview
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Pay is on a bi-weekly cycle. Compensation is based on experience.
