Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory procedures and techniques. This role is essential for supporting our research and development efforts, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests for DNA/Genetic Testing for an international network of physician offices
  • Maintain accurate records of data collection and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
  • Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and materials to ensure reliability.
  • Assist in the preparation of samples for Genetic testing ( Auto Immunue and Nuerological screenings)
  • Collaborate with team members and provide insights based on findings.
  • Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management and reporting.
  • Stay informed about FDA regulations and ensure all laboratory activities comply with industry standards.
  • Provide support in the training of new laboratory staff on procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent laboratory experience.
  • Must have “molecular pathology” as a specialty on their Florida license
  • Certifications: relevant national board exam in molecular diagnostics / molecular pathology (ASCP, AAB, etc.). Also make sure the certifying body is recognized by the Florida Board.
  • Continuing education / HIV/AIDS course / other regulatory training: as required by Florida statutes/rules.
  • Familiarity with genetic testing
  • Experience in clinical laboratory setting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures related to research & development.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks.
  • Ability to work closely with physicians’ offices and ensure accuracy in all processes
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
