Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a Palm Beach, Florida school setting. This role requires delivering speech therapy services to enhance communication skills among children across all grade levels. The position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the current school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (FL SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement appropriate interventions
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
