Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position is located in Lake Wales, FL, serving a diverse K-12 student population. This is a contract role for the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to the educational environment and student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
• Attend IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute professional expertise.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations within the school setting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification.
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in K-12 school environments.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation techniques and educational accommodations.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
• Familiarity with IDEA regulations and documentation requirements.
