We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to manage heavy civil projects in South Florida. Our work focuses on bridges, water control structures, and FDOT infrastructure, serving state, county, and municipal clients.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with FDOT standards. This is a hands-on role for someone ready to take ownership of complex, high-profile projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all engineering aspects of heavy civil projects from start to finish

• Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts

• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders

• Oversee budgets, schedules, and cost controls

• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and owners

• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

• Ensure compliance with FDOT standards, safety requirements, and quality control

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (bridges or water control structures strongly preferred)

• Strong knowledge of FDOT standards and specifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 experience preferred

• E.I. or P.E. preferred; OSHA 30 a plus

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
