Job DescriptionJob Description for Construction LaborConstruction laborers perform a variety of physical tasks at construction sites. These tasks include but are not limited to:
- Preparing the site: Removing debris, digging (no trenching), backfilling, and compacting earth
- Loading and unloading materials: Moving building materials and equipment to and from the site
- Assisting other trades: Helping electricians, plumbers, and other craft workers
- Cleaning up: Keeping the site clean and safe
- Wear safety gear such as hard hats, gloves, face masks, ear protectors, and eyewear
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, squat, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, crouch and crawl for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- All other duties as assigned
