PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


On-Site Involvement & Field Oversight

  • Participate in job site inspections to assess construction status, quality benchmarks, and compliance.
  • Liaise with trades and site personnel to ensure accurate and timely task execution.
  • Enforce adherence to safety standards and construction regulations at all project locations.


Project Coordination & Execution

  • Contribute to project planning, including cost forecasting, timeline development, and resource allocation.
  • Assist senior project personnel in managing overall project timelines, deliverables, and financial goals.
  • Support contract generation, billing review, and end-of-project closeout activities such as final walk-throughs and punch list tracking.


Document Management & Reporting

  • Draft, review, and organize project materials such as request-for-information (RFIs), construction drawings, approvals, change requests, and status updates.
  • Prepare and facilitate regular coordination meetings with internal teams and project stakeholders to keep initiatives aligned and on track.


Communication & Vendor Interaction

  • Interface with suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics contacts to coordinate material orders, delivery schedules, and service execution.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal departments, client representatives, and third-party consultants.


Design Review & Regulatory Assurance

  • Analyze design documentation in line with tenant specifications and project intent to ensure technical accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
  • Confirm architectural and engineering plans meet zoning laws, code requirements, and efficiency standards.


Continuous Process Development

  • Recommend and implement enhancements to improve overall project workflow, organization, and cost control.
  • Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to adopt innovative construction practices and performance-boosting solutions.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


  • At least 1 year of project engineering, superintendent, estimating, assistant project management, or construction management experience.
  • Preferred educational background includes a degree in Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized under pressure.
  • Comfortable using industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator with strong interpersonal capabilities.
  • Understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and construction safety protocols.
  • Must hold a valid drivers license and be able to travel between project sites.

PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS:


  • Able to carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and prolonged standing.
  • Must be comfortable using ladders and working at heights of up to 25 feet.
  • Capable of working on uneven terrain and navigating active construction environments.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use is mandatory and must be adhered to per project safety guidelines.
