Production Line Technician
Location: Miami, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Travel: Approximately once per month
Pay Range: $58,000 – $62,000 annually
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Line Technician to join our growing team. This role involves working both at our Miami facility and occasional travel to client sites across the United States. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with filling, capping, sleeving, heat-shrink, labeling, and related automated production systems. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment readiness in-house, performing field installations, and supporting clients through setup, commissioning, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production line equipment, including filling, capping, sleeving, heat-shrink, and labeling machinery.
- Perform startup and shutdown procedures, ensuring seamless operation from start to finish.
- Complete end-of-day (EOD) cleaning procedures for all production units in compliance with company and safety standards.
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues across the production line to minimize downtime.
- Conduct full system setup and testing at our Miami facility to ensure equipment is fully functional before deployment.
- Travel approximately once a month to client facilities for equipment setup, installation, commissioning, and operator training.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure an efficient and successful production process.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment performance, maintenance, and client training.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Production Line Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automated production equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues efficiently.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately once a month across the United States.
- Bilingual proficiency (spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
