About the Role:
As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of diesel trucks and related heavy machinery. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Valid certification or license relevant to diesel mechanics or heavy vehicle maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in diesel technology or automotive repair.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment and maintenance management software.
- Additional certifications in hydraulics or brake system repair.
- Demonstrated ability to train or mentor junior mechanics.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, braking systems, and hydraulic components of diesel trucks and manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain and service fuel systems and gaskets to ensure efficient engine performance and prevent leaks or failures.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions promptly to support continuous manufacturing operations.
