Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Blender Operator to join a dedicated production team in Miramar, FL. This role is essential in supporting the manufacturing process of pharmaceutical products by preparing blends, assisting in coating and finishing operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture blend batches with active substances and document processes accurately
- Lead and support crews in coating, laminating, and finishing operations
- Assemble, disassemble, and maintain blending/manufacturing equipment
- Weigh raw materials, perform accountability calculations, and document batch records
- Assist with training new operators and support cross-functional production needs
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, FDA/DEA regulations, and safety requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and production areas
- Perform coat weight sampling, prepare finished laminate rolls, and assist in related production tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training preferred
- 1+ years of related manufacturing or blending experience (3+ years preferred for senior-level)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with equipment and tools
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, DEA, and SOP guidelines in a regulated environment
- Ability to perform basic math, accountability calculations, and interpret data
- Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work with PPE in a loud, chemical-exposed environment
