Electronics Service Technician
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair RF-based electronic communication equipment, including mobile and portable devices.
Configure units and conduct functional testing to verify compliance with internal quality standards.
Utilize specialized diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
Perform firmware updates, system alignments, and precision component-level repairs on circuit boards.
Accurately log service activities, parts usage, and repair results in service tracking systems.
Follow ISO guidelines and quality control procedures during all repair and testing processes.
Participate in root cause analysis of product failures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Provide remote technical support to customers as needed via phone or email.
Adhere to established production workflows, including ESD safety protocols.
Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of RF theory along with analog and digital electronics.
Hands-on experience with PCB soldering and component-level rework (preferred).
Proficiency with standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical service manuals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal teams and customer interactions.
Analytical problem-solving ability and comfort working under tight deadlines.
Capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent time management.
