Job Description
KAST is adding a Construction Scheduler to drive CPM schedules across complex commercial and multifamily projects. You’ll own baseline creation, updates, progress narratives, and critical path analysis—keeping stakeholders aligned and projects moving.
What You’ll Do

Build bid/proposal schedules, baselines, and routine schedule updates; analyze schedule impacts and float.

Maintain master schedules; prep, update, and communicate changes to project teams.

Lead schedule portions of owner/architect/GC meetings; provide reporting and narratives.

Capture and leverage historical data; forecast vs. baseline and flag variances early.

Develop work-around plans to recover time; support time impact analyses (TIA) as needed.

Partner with Operations, Owners, and Subs to resolve conflicts impacting schedule.

Publish activity status reports, logs, and weekly updates with PMs and field leadership.

Run critical path reviews; track look-aheads; recommend corrective actions.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, or similar (preferred). Equivalent experience considered.

5+ years scheduling large commercial projects (multifamily/commercial preferred).

Expert user of Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud; strong MS Office skills.

Practical field sense—understands how projects are built and sequenced.

Experience developing preconstruction schedules and supporting procurement sequencing.

Plus: familiarity with TIAs/claims support, MS Project, and dashboarding (e.g., Power BI).
