A full-year, contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) specializing in school and healthcare settings. This role is based in Key Largo, FL, serving a K-12 outpatient pediatric clinic with a focus on school-aged children.

Responsibilities include working directly with children aged 2 to 18 years, addressing a range of speech and language challenges such as pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, reading and writing delays, articulation, and supporting students with high-functioning autism. The caseload predominantly features mild to moderate communication disorders, with no medically fragile patients, enabling a balanced and manageable work pace. The schedule is designed to see one child per hour with a one-hour lunch break, minimizing stress and allowing focus on quality care.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant with experience in both school and healthcare environments
