Position Summary:
Community Care Plan (CCP) is proud to offer an internship program that will prepare students for the workforce. This is a great internship opportunity to get professional hands-on experience in working with the Quality Department.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, striving for excellence and looking for real world experiences. This position is up to 40 hours per week for a six-week period. The first two (2) days of the internship involve on-site training in organizational principles, human resources, compliance, departmental functions, computer systems & business processes. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills they may have acquired in school related to their particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting. The candidate also has opportunities to network with administration, finance, and IT staff. The intern will work with confidential and proprietary information that requires a signed Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile all outreach data by: type of outreach and then by age, gender, race/ethnicity, Broward district and Memorial Health of focused member.
- Drilldown each outreach type to success by age, gender, race/ethnicity, Broward district and Memorial Health.
- Analyze outcomes of outreach at 7 days, 15 days, and 30 days after outreach event.
- Draw conclusions on which type of outreach was successful by age, gender, race/ethnicity, Broward district and Memorial Health.
- Research health outreach modalities in the Medicaid population, include the use and non-use of member rewards or incentives.
- Write a report detailing the most successful course of outreach, make assumptions about future outcomes, and bring forth optional outreach modalities if no outreach effort proved successful.
- Present findings to HEDIS Committee.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in the Public Health Administration field.
Work Schedule:
Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs.
