Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Rate: $48/hour + $0.60 night shift differential
Position Type: Full-time, rotating 12-hour shifts (day/night)
Schedule: 5:15 AM – 5:30 PM or 5:15 PM – 5:30 AM, rotating 2 days on/2 days off, 3 days on/2 days off, every other weekend off

Position Overview
-
Shift Differential Pay: $0.60/hour for night shifts
-
Signing Bonus: $7,000 for qualified hires
-
Primary Equipment/Systems: Water treatment units, pumps, motors, tanks, screws, hydraulic units, conveyors, valves, furnaces, blowers, piping systems
Responsibilities
-
Perform preventive maintenance and major equipment repairs/adjustments
-
Maintain equipment manuals library
-
Conduct daily maintenance checks and maintain systems
-
Respond to emergency equipment calls outside of assigned shifts
-
Identify and address OSHA safety issues (pinch points, missing guards, blocked exits, etc.)
-
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and pneumatic equipment
-
Test and ensure proper equipment function post-repair
-
Maintain tools and ensure replacements/repairs as needed
Requirements
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum 8 years industrial mechanical experience: PdM/PM, LOTO, blueprint reading, compressors/pneumatic systems, reverse/laser alignments, troubleshooting pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic equipment

Welding experience preferred
-
Successful completion of industrial mechanical written AND practical tests

Pass all pre-employment screening: background check, employment/education verification, drug screen, physical

Completion of accredited apprenticeship program preferred

Proficient in English (reading/writing) and basic math (add, subtract, multiply)

Must communicate effectively in English
Physical Requirements

Wear respiratory protection in production areas
-
Ability to climb and work at varying heights
-
Wear full PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, hearing protection

Lift/carry up to 80 lbs
Ideal Candidate

Highly skilled industrial mechanic (Level IV) capable of working independently and leading others

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Comfortable in physically demanding industrial environments
