Seeking an Interiors trade AutoCAD Drafter & Estimator that will work on projects from estimating to creating shop drawings. We will train how to prepare estimates and on estimating practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Estimating:

• Prepare proposals, summaries and handle all documents to complete a thorough bid package.
• Attend scope review and buy-out meetings with business development team.
• Responsible for review of current project information daily, whether provided by project management team, project hub or fpt site.
• Receive and apply revisions, addendum specifications related to assigned bids/projects.
• Manage ITB’s, handle RFI’s, process and obtain cost requests.
• Track estimating workload and meet deadlines.
• Meet and cooperate with field team, project administration, and/or any staff member for job coordination and development of production schedules.
• Prepare analytical reports and spreadsheets to allow evaluation of estimate/job from different facets.

AutoCAD Drafting:

• Comprehensive understanding of AutoCAD and geometry.
• Analyze blueprints and bid data specifications to prepare material and labor estimates.
• Prepare CAD drawings and illustrations in accordance with established format requirements and drawing standards.
• Revise existing drawings based on verbal explanation, sketches, and marked-up prints.
• Analyze technical/electronic data, designs, and specifications needed to successfully manufacture products.
• Establish and maintain records and files in the system and in proper order as to allow the drawings and production records to be current and reliable.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple assignments at the same time.

Minimum Requirements: Two (2) years of experience in Drafting, Construction and Estimating.

Experience must include: Knowledge of Autodesk, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, Excel and “Take Off” software.
