Role Description
This is a Contract 1099 School based full / part - time position for an Occupational Therapist. Schools are located in The Hollywood and North Miami Beach, FL areas. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement treatment programs for clients of all ages improving their daily living and school-based skills. Responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and educating patients / clients and their families. The therapist will also maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the development of innovative therapy approaches.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy principles and techniques
- Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation practices relevant to the role
- **Experience working with Pediatrics**
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and personalized patient care
- Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
