About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and polished Community Ambassador / Reception & Guest Services Associate to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic, high-touch corporate environment. This role combines luxury hospitality with operational excellence, ensuring every guest and VIP feels welcomed, valued, and supported throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Customer Service

  • Deliver superior customer service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

  • Handle guest inquiries, provide information about the establishment, and assist with check-ins and check-outs.

  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, striving to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Engage with guests to understand their preferences, providing personalized recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities.

  • Stay up to date on local events, concerts, and seasonal activities to offer relevant and timely suggestions.

  • Extend courtesy and urgency in welcoming and assisting guests, embodying the highest standards of hospitality—even beyond the front desk.

Operations & Coordination

  • Oversee and manage room reservations, ensuring accurate data entry and efficient use of booking systems.

  • Maintain updated records of guest bookings, room availability, and special requests.

  • Collaborate closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and F&B teams to optimize room allocation and ensure seamless guest experiences.

  • Communicate guest preferences and special requirements to relevant departments to meet needs effectively.

  • Handle special guest requests, including transportation arrangements, restaurant reservations, and spa appointments.

VIP & High-Touch Services

  • Identify VIP guests based on their preferences, requests, or status and deliver personalized, high-end service.

  • Anticipate VIP needs and go above and beyond to exceed expectations.

  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill VIP requests and ensure a memorable and distinguished experience.

Safety & Facility Support

  • Maintain a visible presence to ensure guest safety and security throughout the property.

  • Respond promptly to safety concerns or emergencies and follow established protocols.

  • Coordinate with security personnel and management to resolve security-related issues.

  • Conduct regular inspections of office and guest areas to ensure a professional, welcoming environment.

  • Support hoteling and mobile working practices by assisting with workspace reservations and managing occupancy.

  • Liaise with facilities maintenance for timely upkeep of spaces.

Process & Performance Management

  • Collaborate with leadership to define and implement robust policies, procedures, and standards that align with business goals.

  • Identify and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure adherence to all Service Level Agreements (SLA).

  • Apply project and change management methodologies to identify and implement service improvement opportunities.

  • Maintain and update the Site Operations Manual/Playbook to ensure accurate documentation of operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations, or a corporate concierge environment preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to superior customer service.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a corporate-polished presentation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Knowledge of local dining, entertainment, and attractions is a plus.
