Summary
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at ATC Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for performing CT scans and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. This position is vital in supporting patient care and enhancing our clients' healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans according to established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images accurately.
- Document patient information and imaging results in compliance with medical standards.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety regulations during procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in technology.
Requirements
- Certification as a CT Technologist from an accredited program.
- Proven experience in performing CT scans in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with X-ray, mammography, and diagnostic evaluation is preferred.
