Security Desk Clerk
The Security Desk Clerk is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and property staff. This role involves monitoring access to the building, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service while enforcing condominium policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control:

- Monitor and control entry and exit of residents, guests, contractors, and deliveries.
- Verify identification and maintain visitor logs.
Surveillance:

- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
- Conduct regular patrols of common areas and report any suspicious activity.
Emergency Response:

- Respond promptly to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security incidents.
- Contact emergency services when necessary and assist until help arrives.
Customer Service:

- Greet residents and visitors professionally.
- Provide information and assistance regarding building policies and amenities.
Reporting:

- Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Communicate issues to management on time.
Policy Enforcement:

- Ensure compliance with condominium rules and regulations.
- Address noise complaints and unauthorized access diplomatically.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Indoor security desk with occasional patrols in common areas.
- Interact daily with residents, guests, and contractors.
