The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for leading the designing, development, and the implementation of engineering projects. This role provides innovative solutions to solve any problems and it requires the supervision and implementation of a variety of projects. The Senior Project Engineer, have a strong understanding of engineering principles to deliver high quality standards to CPH clients.
Duties Include:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
  • Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion.
  • Review and approve designs, specifications, and calculations.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed.
  • Ensures that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepares and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, and status updates.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper managements and clients.
  • Serves a primary point of contact for internal and external clients.


Requirements/Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software’s platforms.
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Ability to exercise critical thinking and good independent judgement.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, electrical, or related field). A Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and industry standards.
  • PE Licensed Preferred
