About the Role
We’re hiring a Test Technician to support our electronics manufacturing and quality testing operations in St. Petersburg. In this role, you’ll operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated and manual test systems that verify printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies before shipment.
You’ll work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure every product meets strict reliability and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support automated and manual electronic test equipment during production.
- Perform functional and in-circuit testing (ICT) to confirm product quality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures at the component or system level.
- Conduct routine calibration and maintenance of test systems and fixtures.
- Follow established test procedures, quality guidelines, and safety standards.
- Document all test results, defects, and retests accurately in MES or related systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and yield.
Qualifications
- Associate degree, diploma, or certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and functional testing.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and functional testers.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or functional testers.
- Hands-on experience in equipment calibration, setup, or maintenance.
- Basic soldering and electronic rework experience.
- Familiarity with data collection or test software systems.
