RN Supervisor Skilled Nursing Facility (311 Shift)

Location: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Nursing Home / Rehabilitation Center

Schedule: Evening Shift, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This leadership role is focused on ensuring quality resident care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations during the evening shift.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, and CNAs) during the 311 shift.
• Conduct rounds and oversee quality of care in the nursing home setting.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to clinical staff.
• Serve as the main point of contact for residents, families, and staff in the evening.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and respond to call-outs.
• Accurately document resident care and participate in chart audits.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state (in good standing).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an RN Supervisor in a Skilled Nursing Facility, nursing home, or rehabilitation center.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills in long-term care or post-acute environments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage urgent or emergency situations calmly and effectively.
