Job DescriptionReal Estate Associate Attorney – Hospitality Focus (Miami, preferred; also Dallas, Houston, Orlando, or Tampa)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of real estate law experience to join a leading national real estate practice with a focus on hospitality.

Ideal candidates will have hotel experience (negotiating hotel management agreements, acquisitions/dispositions, and financing) and/or developer-side experience in condominiums or master-planned communities. Candidates must also have experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan agreements, easements, CC&Rs, development agreements, and property management agreements. Real estate development and joint venture experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on commercial real estate and hospitality-focused transactions

• Draft and negotiate transactional documents and agreements

• Collaborate with partners and clients on complex real estate projects

• Manage multiple matters efficiently and provide practical solutions

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-approved law school

• Active bar membership in the relevant state(s) of practice (timely admission considered)

• 3–5 years of commercial real estate law experience, with hospitality focus preferred

• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Team-oriented, client-focused, and highly motivated

Additional Information

• Preferred location: Miami (other offices considered: Dallas, Houston, Orlando, Tampa)

• Expected salary range: $260,000–$350,000 (dependent on experience and skills)
