Job DescriptionReal Estate Associate Attorney – Hospitality Focus (Miami, preferred; also Dallas, Houston, Orlando, or Tampa)
Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of real estate law experience to join a leading national real estate practice with a focus on hospitality.
Ideal candidates will have hotel experience (negotiating hotel management agreements, acquisitions/dispositions, and financing) and/or developer-side experience in condominiums or master-planned communities. Candidates must also have experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan agreements, easements, CC&Rs, development agreements, and property management agreements. Real estate development and joint venture experience is a plus.
Responsibilities

Advise clients on commercial real estate and hospitality-focused transactions

Draft and negotiate transactional documents and agreements

Collaborate with partners and clients on complex real estate projects

Manage multiple matters efficiently and provide practical solutions
Requirements

JD from an ABA-approved law school

Active bar membership in the relevant state(s) of practice (timely admission considered)

3–5 years of commercial real estate law experience, with hospitality focus preferred

Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

Team-oriented, client-focused, and highly motivated

Expected salary range: $260,000–$350,000 (dependent on experience and skills)
