Heavy Equipment Foreman - Florida
*Candidate must be able to travel to multiple jobsites throughout Florida
CHC is seeking an experienced and hands-on Heavy Equipment Foreman to lead our maintenance team and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced repair environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Supervise mechanics and assign daily tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on heavy equipment.
- Oversee preventative maintenance and repair schedules.
- Ensure quality control on all repairs and inspections.
- Maintain safety standards and enforce OSHA compliance.
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory management.
- Communicate repair timelines and equipment status to management.
- Train, mentor, and support technicians to improve skill levels.
- Document work performed and maintained accurate service records.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience working on heavy equipment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and hydraulic/electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and service manuals.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management.
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
