Job Summary
Be part of a tree crew responsible for climbing trees with the aid of rope and saddles as well as use of a bucket truck. Perform other tasks including chipping, use of chainsaw and debris removal.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Trimming
- Pruning
- Prepare, operate and maintain tools and equipment
- Operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers and aerial lifts
- Debris removal
- Willingness to obtain specialized training and certifications as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of tree trimming experience
- Able to operate two-handed equipment
- Knowledge of rope and saddle climbing
- Valid Driver’s License, CDL is a plus!
- EHAP certification is a plus!
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
Physical Requirements
- Lifting, bending, squatting required
- Must be able to push, lift and drag up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
Compensation
Pay for this position is $25hr
