Skyline Timber LLC is a growing tree service company seeking an experienced and skilled Tree Climber to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely climbing, pruning, and removing trees while ensuring efficiency and professionalism on every job site.
Responsibilities:
• Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and other equipment.
• Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removals as needed.
• Operate chainsaws, rigging equipment, and other specialized tools.
• Assess tree conditions and identify potential hazards.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete jobs in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices.
• Maintain and care for climbing gear and tools.
Requirements:
• Must have prior tree climbing experience with references.
• Must own personal climbing gear.
• Proficiency in tree trimming and removal techniques.
• Knowledge of tree care and industry safety standards.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
