Front Desk and Medical Assistant


We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk and Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients, verify insurance information, and update patient records
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar
  • Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical supplies
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy policies
  • Manage administrative tasks including filing, billing, and data entry
  • Some travel between satellite offices may be required

Position:

  • Full Time

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is advantageous - wound care experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and insurance procedures
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a team-oriented mindset
